On-Line Gamma-Ray Spectrometry Courses

On-Line Nuclear Training was based upon the successful and respected attendance courses regularly run in Warrington by Dr Gordon Gilmore (of Practical Gamma-Ray Spectrometry fame) of Nuclear Training Services Ltd. Participation in the courses was by subscription. This allowed the course material to be downloaded in stages from the Internet. Students could work on the material as and when they were able, at their own pace. The courses had an element of assessment associated with them.

Three courses were available:

Practical Gammma-Ray Spectrometry - covering all of the normal Three Day course material and more besides.
Introductory Gamma-Ray Spectrometry - covering all of the spectrometry aspects of the normal One Day Introductory course
Introduction to Radioactivity - covers the basics of radioactivity; why and how nuclides decay, mathematics of decay. This course, together with the Introductory course, covers more than the normal One Day course material.

The Online Training Courses have now been discontinued due to the retirement of Dr Gilmore and Nuclear Training Services Ltd will shortly be closed down completely. The intellectual property of the company has been transferred to Dr Gilmore now trading as NTS Net.
