CompAct Virtual Spectrometer
This is an autoinstalling compressed file. Dowload it into your Course folder, click on its icon in the folder and it will automatically install into the c:\CompAct folder. compactinstall.exe (1.4MB)
The Virtual Spectrometer is version 4 of CompAct, for which the manual has not yet been prepared. Version 3 manual is available in the meantime. This covers all matters other than the counting facilities. Version 3 manual.exe self-install (367kB)

Fonts
All pages on our site use the Verdana fonts for clarity and the Symbol font for the greek and mathematical symbols.Zipped File (374 kB)
Microsoft Fonts
These fonts are usually installed automatically with both Netscape and Microsoft browsers. However, if you do not have them on your machine either follow the link above to the Microsoft site and download them or download a ZIP file with the four fonts necessary. Extract them into a suitable folders and then use 'Start/Settings/Control Panel/Fonts' to install them.
